Who is "Daughter Babylon" Referring to in the Bible?

Since Babylon within the Bible is a location, and essentially a large city or territory... its daughter is not a person - but a place.

As we look at this Daughter-Babylon phrase, consider for a moment - who was her mother? In order for a daughter to be born, both mother and daughter have to be present at the same time. In other words, Babylon and Daughter Babylon, would've had to exist at the same time.

As I described under the page Ancient and modern Babylon, modern Babylon is our global environment having the following characteristics.

• Babylon attracts world-wide trade.
  
• Contains people who speak different languages.
• Facilitates open telecommunications between nations.
• Facilitates open communications between trading partners.
• Generates riches through its trading partners. Perhaps takes a cut out of every transaction, similar to taxes?
  

Characteristics of
Daughter Babylon

As "daughter Babylon" is similar in character to its mother (Babylon), it carries many of its same features, but with the addition of the following.

• Daughter Babylon is alive and well during the same era as Babylon, since its mother gave birth to it.
  
• Children are always birthed after their parents, so Daughter Babylon arrives after mother Babylon is established.
  
• Children are physically smaller than their parents (or at least until they grow up), so this Daughter of Babylon likely takes up less real estate than its mother (Babylon).
  
• Since Bible verses speak specifically about judging Daughter Babylon, this becomes the focal point of Babylon's iniquity. Basically, Babylon's iniquity gets funneled into its daughter.
• Since Daughter Babylon is the hub of Babylon's iniquity, it also becomes the headquarters for its crooked leaders. This is why it gets attacked so severely by its enemy. “Daughter Babylon is like a threshing floor at the time it is trampled; the time to harvest her will soon come.” (Jeremiah 51:33)
  
• There are Jews who live within Daughter Babylon that need to escape before destruction sets in. "Come, Zion! Escape, you who live in Daughter Babylon!" (Zechariah 2: 7)

Verses Referring to Daughter Babylon

This "Daughter Babylon" phrase which is printed five times within the Old-Testament, appears to be a segue for passages that describe rather accurately our modern times. (Psalm 137:8, Isaiah 47:1, Jeremiah 50:42, Jeremiah 51:33, Zechariah 2:7).

Particularly significant, is the verse of Isaiah 47:1 which is located a few pages after Cyrus is introduced, and Zechariah 2:7 which speaks of God punishing those nations who have plundered Zion. Could this possibly imply the countries of Russia and Ukraine?

I'm fairly certain that what occurred within ancient Babylon during its time of defeat, is basically prophecy for what's occurring within Babylon today. Both vintages of Babylon had a daughter which was the hub of its iniquity.

Now that I’ve given you my take on Daughter Babylon, take heed of the following verses from Zechariah chapter two. As you read them, consider that Ukraine and Russia are located directly north of Israel. 

Daughter Babylon Will Fall Within a Single Day!

If you've read my earlier 2022 letters, you will see that I truly believe that Daughter Babylon will soon fall, and Donald Trump will return to power. The connection between Cyrus of Isaiah chapter forty-five and Donald Trump is truly remarkable.

Let's jump ahead a couple of chapters to forty-seven. In verse nine, we see that Daughter Babylon will fall within a single day!

Virgin Daughter Babylon

I believe that there is only one Bible verse with the phrase "virgin daughter Babylon", which is found in the verse of Isaiah 47:1.

So, who is our modern-day Babylonian king? Simply put, there is none. That is what the Lord is trying to prevent, although that won’t keep certain folks from trying. I believe concepts we've been discussing, brings this verse of Isaiah to life.

Narrowing The Field

Understanding certain characteristics of Daughter Babylon, and that it will soon be judged - I've been trying to narrow down its location. With all of the globalization and fraternization between political representatives, that seems to occur on a regular basis... it's difficult to pinpoint its hub.

I understand that the current Russian/Ukrainian war is essentially a result of globalization, but who are the main players? More importantly, from God's perspective.... who are the main players? Who are those that have doubled down and continued along their evil ways, instead of repenting for their crimes against humanity? Since the Bible is based upon the Israelite/Jewish history, I thought it might be a good place to begin researching.

Now, it only took moments to find out that there are more Jews within North-America than Israel itself. Using basic concepts as guideposts, like Daughter Babylon's characteristics, Jewish-diaspora, and certain heraldry....  it didn't take long to determine where Daughter Babylon is likely residing.

Old Testament Verses with the Phrase  "Daughter Babylon"

Psalm 137: (8) Daughter Babylon, doomed to destruction, happy is the one who repays you according to what you have done to us.

Isaiah 47: (1) Go down, sit in the dust, Virgin Daughter Babylon; sit on the ground without a throne, queen city of the Babylonians. No more will you be called tender or delicate.

Jeremiah 50: (42) They are armed with bows and spears; they are cruel and without mercy. They sound like the roaring sea as they ride on their horses; they come like men in battle formation to attack you, Daughter Babylon.

Jeremiah 51: (33) This is what the Lord Almighty, the God of Israel, says: “Daughter Babylon is like a threshing floor at the time it is trampled; the time to harvest her will soon come.”

Zechariah 2: (7) Come, Zion! Escape, you who live in Daughter Babylon!
