This "breath of life" phrase is taken directly out of the Bible. Although this expression is inferred within many verses of the Bible, within the NIV (New International Version) this exact phrase is only found within the book of Genesis (1:30, 2:7, 6:17, 7:15, 7:22) and the book of Revelation (11:11).
Within the KJV (King James Version) the verse of Revelation 11:11, uses the phrase spirit of life instead of breath of life.
