Daniel Chapter Ten Prophecy

In order to properly explain where we are within Biblical prophecy, we need to delve into the book of Daniel. I was going to reserve this particular segment for a future book which I’ve already begun, but it seems I can’t put this off any longer. This segment is required in order to connect the dots with what's already been published on this site.

Daniel chapter ten, is a prophecy that describes our most recent pandemic. Through Daniel's vision, he basically describes a "man" of bright light with the “voice like the sound of a multitude”. Essentially, I believe that this vision was the Lord - or at least a representation of our Lord and saviour.

In verse one of the NIV (New International Version of the Bible), it describes this vision of Daniel’s as a “great war”. It doesn’t really state what the war was, other than it was a great one.

I believe the phrase “three weeks” in Daniel verse 10:2, can be interpreted prophetically as being a three-year span of time. Three years, was the same length of time as our recent pandemic.

A Prophetic Week’s Time

I believe that all words in the Bible are there for a specific purpose, and are not there to just fill pages. Often times in prophetic scripture, others have interpreted one week as meaning seven years.

Regardless of the preceding statement, if we interpret one week to mean one-year instead of seven, then events of the recent past align perfectly with Daniel chapter ten.

Since Daniel mourned and fasted for three weeks, and it was important to include this text within scripture - I believe that this was a prophetic statement regarding a futuristic three-year war.

In this world, much of it is downright evil. This recent pandemic wasn’t caused by God himself, but he did allow it to occur. In due time, I’m sure all will be revealed as to what the full intent of this man-made virus was meant to accomplish. I’m confident if it wasn’t for the Lord - events on this planet would’ve been much more dire than they were.

This is why the image of the Lord in Daniel chapter ten is the dominant theme. God and his angels were front and center throughout the entire pandemic, and assisting us through the battle. This pandemic seemed to be more of a spiritual battle than a physical one.

God knew that mankind would dream up a way to create world-wide chaos in one form or another. In effect, we’ve just lived through World-War Three. God used the pandemic to open people’s eyes and initiate the last great harvest of souls.

The following verses are Jesus’ own words which describe the harvest.

The Hebrew word for “week” is seven. Number seven in the Bible represents completion, or perfection. In effect, it represents God himself in all his power and glory.

He is our all-loving God, but is also the one who judges. God identifies himself with the number seven. Those of us on the earth who lived through these “three weeks” (three years time) were refined through God’s fire. 

The Beginning of the War

This war was not only due to the virus itself; but all of the propaganda, lock-downs, and mandates. Throughout the pandemic it was hard to know who to believe and who not to believe. The evil one’s primary-weapon throughout the pandemic was the great Bear described in Daniel chapter seven.

January 23rd 2020, was the day we heard that China had locked down the city of Wuhan. It was also the day in which the Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists updated their doomsday clock. On January 23rd, their clock was updated to 100 seconds from midnight. This was the closest to midnight that it had been thus far.

Curiously, the Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists released a highly accurate prophetic statement on the same day. Recall that this 23rd day of January 2020, was immediately before the North-American pandemic. Their statement given on that day is what follows.

The following day of January 24th 2020, was the day when CDC officially confirmed a second case of the novel coronavirus in America, which occurred in Chicago, Illinois. 

This second COVID case was from a woman in her sixties that returned to the U.S. from Wuhan, China. There can’t be a pandemic with just one case, there has to be minimally two. Since the pandemic had already been spreading in China, this second case was a clear indication that it had migrated to North America as well.

This January 24th date is within the verse of Daniel 10:4.

Since this passage is a prophetic statement, it infers that the Lord showed up for the spiritual battle on the first day of the pandemic. You might well ask: How do you know this passage is referring to the year 2020?

Within biblical prophecy, what can’t be ignored is the fact that the forty-fifth U.S. President is front and center. I explained some of this in an earlier letter (regarding Isaiah 45). The connection between Donald-Trump and Cyrus is uncanny.

Within certain biblical passages, if you merely take the name Cyrus and replace it with the name Donald Trump…. It’s like putting a prophetic key into the lock and opening a door.

The pandemic began in the third year of Donald Trump’s presidency, just like it’s stated below.

Donald Trump was inaugurated in January 20th, 2017, so his third year of presidency began on January 20th, 2020. The pandemic began (second COVID case) four days later, on January 24th, 2020.

Now this prior Bible verse states that Cyrus was the “king of Persia”. For all intents and purposes, we know that Donald Trump is the only one who seems to firmly stand against the nuclear agenda in Iran. In a moment you will see how I rationalize this “king of Persia” phrase.

The End of the War

During the pandemic here in America, the Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists’ doomsday clock did not get updated. Immediately after however, and on January 23rd 2023 - it advanced to the closest to midnight it's ever been; 90 seconds. On that day the Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists posted the following warning.

Since the pandemic is no longer a major concern, mankind’s attention has now turned towards more pressing issues. We are surely not out of the woods yet.

Twenty-One Days Before the War

Directly out of this same chapter ten, there was a second prophesied event. The following passage pinpoints its date.

This passage states that the one who gave Daniel the vision on January 24th, was detained for twenty-one days due to a conflict in Persia (Iran). Hence, twenty-one days before January 24th 2020 was January 3rd.

January 3rd 2020, was when Iran’s Major-General Qasem Soleimani along with four Iranian nationals, and Five Iraqi nationals, were assassinated by a U.S. drone.

According to the U.S. department of Defense's website:

"General Soleimani was actively developing plans to attack American diplomats and service members in Iraq and throughout the region. General Soleimani and his Quds Force were responsible for the deaths of hundreds of American and coalition service members and the wounding of thousands more. He had orchestrated attacks on coalition bases in Iraq over the last several months – including the attack on December 27th – culminating in the death and wounding of additional American and Iraqi personnel. General Soleimani also approved the attacks on the U.S. Embassy in Baghdad that took place this week."

Reputable sites report that General Soleimani was killed on January 3rd, 2020. Here is a write-up on Qassem Soleimani's life from Britannica.

Donald Trump was president during the assassination of Major-General Qassem Soleimani. In effect, this aligns with the verse of Daniel 10:1, where it states that Cyrus (Donald Trump) was king over Persia (Iran). Note that Iran doesn’t have a so-called king, but they do have a “Supreme Leader”; Ali Khamenei.

I believe that the “The prince of the Persian kingdom” in the verse of Daniel 10:13, is referring to the now deceased Major-General Qassem Soleimani. This man was the second most powerful person in Iran at the time, and worked closely with Ali Khamenei. He was also the primary target of the drone attack.

Immediately after the attack, there was great potential for retaliation from Iran. From what I gather through these verses (Daniel chapter ten), it was only due to the Lord’s grace that the conflict did not escalate.
